How to eat less

Losing or maintaining weight will not be difficult by eating less. Find out some useful tips to stay in shape forever.

Meeting of Man and God was fixed to discuss man's daily routine. Man went to meet an angel to take his suggestions. Angel said, "When God will ask you regarding your bath and food issues your answer should be four times bath and meal once in a day." When God asked him the same question he replied "bath once in a day and meal four times a day." So God was very unhappy with Man's reply and he punished him for that by turning him in to an obese. Even God wants human being to eat less to stay fit. Eating less is also a means to save resources gifted by God.
How to eat less and what to eat is an issue for every health conscious person. Though work outs are becoming illustrious, problems of obesity are also increasing. One problem of obesity gives invitation to ten other health problems. So do not be late to start good things. Here are some tips which will help you to deal with eating less.
Following some simple tips will help you to eat less and lose weight with ease. It will be as effortless as gaining weight.
  • Drink a glass of water before having meal. This will fill your stomach and help you eat less
  • Serve your self in a smaller plate.
  • Eat according to the requirement; do not eat when you are not hungry.
  • Keep your fridge stuffed more with fruits rather than cheese, cakes and pastries.
  • Buy eatables like cakes, cookies, etc. in smaller quantities.
  • Keep habit of eating fat free and calorie free stuff but do not have too much of it.
  • Store sugar free products in your kitchen.
  • Stay away from sugar and sweets as much as you can.
  • Avoid asking for extra cheese or large meals when you eat outside.
  • Avoid eating salted snacks and chips; you can replace them with salads.
  • Keep dry fruits with you; if you feel hungry have them instead of snacks.
  • Avoid soft drinks and have water instead.
  • Avoid eating your meals in hurry so that you avoid eating more.
  • Avoid sitting in front of your TV set while having meal.
  • Try to divide your meal so that you do not eat too much at a time.
  • Avoid eating bread; instead eat chapattis or rotis without oil or butter.
  • Start your meal by eating vegetables first so it will help you to eat other foodstuffs in lesser quantity.
  • Try to note down the amount of calories you consume everyday and try to reduce it down each day, thereby avoiding food with high calorie content.
  • Avoid eating processed food.
  • Avoid eating immediately before going to bed.
  • Stick to your goal of eating less and say no to compromises.
You will not have to spend too much of time on workouts if you pursue such simple tips. Try to understand the basic requirements of your body. Make a list of things that you will eat and not eat for having a proper control on your diet. Even Minor changes in your diet can help you to eat less. So always remember that you have to eat to survive and not survive to eat.
