Name: Mayurika
Subject: Hydramnios (too much liquor)
Comment: Although I thought I was having a great pregnancy, the doctor just informed me today that my stomach was too big and that was because of excess fluid around the baby. I have been asked to have a very controlled diet, otherwise I run the risk of miscarriage. I am worried. Has anybody had the same problemNULL
Name: gayatri
Subject: Same problem
Comment: Hi Mayurika, I had the same problem with my first pregnancy. the doctor put me on an almost salt-free diet and actually restricted my intake of fluids. I could only have about 3 glasses of water the whole day, and that too in the month of May when it was so hot. She put me on this diet for a period of 6 weeks, and not only did I not gain weight, but I actually lost a litlle bit. B more
