Frequent Urination –

Since the uterus is growing in size it will press your bladder and you will feel frequent urination in your early pregnancy. Consult your doctor only if there is pain or you find blood, pus or burning sensation at that time.

Changes in Your Baby –

By the end of the first trimester your baby will start taking form and the organs will start developing. The baby will weigh almost half an ounce and the size will be about 2 inches.

  • Go for a complete physical examination.
  • Find out details of your family history.
  • Undergo all required tests done.
  • Get your blood pressure, urine and weight checked.
  • Start changing your food habits and develop healthy eating habits as soon as possible.

  • Take vitamins and supplements suggested by gynecologist.
  • Check whether you come in contact with any kind of chemicals at work or at home. Avoid coming in contact with any such chemicals.
  • Stay away from cat litter.

My first trimester was much better. though I experienced morning sickness symptoms but they were not severe. I had problem with smells. I could not tolerate the smell of some spices and perfumes.

I was completely on bed rest in my first trimester of pregnancy. Now I am five months. I always used to throw up and thus felt tired and fatigued. My doctor asked me take leave from work and to have rest.
