Weight Gain and Baby's Development

How much weight should I have gained by the end of this month

You should not have gained any weight this month, because the baby is still too little to require any extra nutrition.

I keep throwing up, how will my baby get nourished

Morning sickness, fortunately, does not interfere with the nutrition that your baby receives. The baby lives off your energy and it is normally the mother who suffers. Therefore it is important for you to eat the right foods and get plenty of rest.

How is my baby growing

At this stage there is no obvious foetal activity. As the fertilized egg is so very small that there is no enlargement of the abdomen either. But don't worry, you are pregnant. Hard to imagine, but true.
