Aromatic, pungent and spicy, ginger has been widely acclaimed as a medicine since ancient times. Mistakenly termed as a root, ginger is in fact a rhizome, where the stem sprouts out of the ground, along with small roots and green shoots.

Since time immemorial, ginger has been held in high esteem by the Chinese, Indian, Roman and Middle Eastern populations owing to its stellar medicinal, aromatic and culinary properties.

Indian Ayurvedic writings, in fact, equate ginger with ‘a virtual medicinal chest’ because of its ample health benefits. It is especially known for its concentrated, spicy scent, which can be attributed to the fact that it contains around 3% organic essential oils. Its zingy taste accompanies most Asian dishes as a flavouring agent.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is known as Singara in Sanskrit but it has also been termed as Mahaushadha, or ‘universal medicine,’ because of its immense therapeutic properties.

I can confidently recommend Steplex cream for those who suffer from joint pain due to arthritis, osteoarthritis and sports injuries. Like all natural remedies, acts cumulatively, may help not after the first application, and a little later. But the effect is excellent, I checked on myself.
