Funny it may sound, but you can lose water weight by drinking more and more water! This has a logical explanation. As you increase the intake of water, the body simultaneously begins to release extra weight. You would be surprised to note that the water weight falls pretty fast. So, if you plan to lose weight within a week, plan to drink lots of water; 1.8 liters is considered to be ideal for an average person. The other benefit of drinking loads of water is glowing skin as the water washes away a lot of toxins from your system.

You must avoid certain things and take note of the following when you plan to lose weight in a week:


Say No to Soda

Soda plays a great role in increasing your weight. All aerated drinks contain them. You may not consume soda directly, so you need to watch out for the ingredients of every artificial drink that you are buying off the shelf. If you switch to lime water, you can enjoy great benefits for your digestive system and skin as well.


Never skip Breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It is still a common misconception that skipping breakfast can help to lose weight fast. Nothing can be farther from the truth. Replace your heavy mayonnaise sandwiches with cornflakes or muesli and fuel your system to take on the day ahead.


No Fast-Food

If you plan to lose weight within a week, you need to control your temptations even if you see a cheese burger or a piping hot-dog before you.


No Milk Products

Avoid milk, milk-based food like cheese, butter, ice-creams along with red meat – People tend to eat during depression bouts. This behavior must be avoided.


Avoid Tea, Coffee and Alcohol

Tea, coffee and alcohol must be shunned. The caffeine in these drinks tend to dehydrate the body and as you lose water continuously, you must also realise that you are gaining weight as well.


Avoid Crash Dieting

This is also a popular myth that people tend to follow when they plan to lose weight soon. The program involves complete avoidance of food, or they minimise their food intake to nearly nothing. The body loses its energy and slowly you advance towards terrible weakness that further results in anemia and other medical complications that can be fatal too.


What Should You Do?

When you plan to lose weight in a week, you must stand up for the challenge first and start working towards it. This means, you should be up for regular exercises. Just a single type of exercise may prove to be monotonous, so a combination of a three of four can be exciting and beneficial at the same time.

Cardiovascular exercises are a great option along with Pilates. Pilates must be done under a trained expert and it helps the exerciser to achieve a lean look pretty fast. And you must never forget to drink loads of liquids like water, energy drinks and fruit juices to keep your body hydrated. But the most important thing which you should do is to talk to your doctor about it and check if such weight loss will suit your body or not.
