So well said that yoga is not a quick fix solution. I completely agree with you. My aunt started practicing pranayama and she thought she would get rid of her diabetes and high blood pressure instantly just like she takes medicine. She only continued for a month and became irregular giving excuses. I found a bit change in many things and even her blood sugar level was normal but she found it very problematic and eventually stopped increasing all her problems.
One of my friends started yoga and she felt the pain increasing day by day. She neglected thinking that it is just because she is new with yoga and the exercise. But she had severe pain one day and had to consult her doctor. I agree with you and your points mentioned in the article. We should not perform yoga without proper and authentic guidance.
Your article is really helpful. In fact I always wanted to start yoga hearing and watching all about its benefits but feared that I may end up with more problems than solving those that I already have. I also feel very lazy to get up early in the morning. But perhaps yoga will help me get rid of this problem also. Thanks a lot for the information you shared.
