Authentic Kadhai Paneer

INGREDIENTS

INGREDIENTS:

300 gms paneer( cottage cheese) cut into slices
2 onions (sauteed in one teaspoon oil and grind it to a fine paste)
3 tomatoes (pureed)
1 tablespoon chopped ginger
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
4 chopped green chilli
1/2 green chopped finely capsicum
5 green cardamom, ( crushed)
5 green clove( crushed)
Dhaniya powder- 1 teaspoon
Jeera powder- 1 teaspoon
Pepper powder -1 teaspoon
Kitchen king powder1- tablespoon
Shahi biryani masala 1- tablespoon
Amul cream 4 tablespoon
Roasted kasuri methi powder
Ghee 2 tablespoon
Kaju / melon seed powder 2 tablespoon
For garnishing
2 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
2 Kashmiri whole mirch
Onion / capsicum cut into triangles and sauteed

  METHOD
Heat oil / ghee
Add elaichi,& clove and along with that add garlic..
Stir it on high flame for 1 minute, then add chopped ginger , green chilli , chopped capsicum and keep stirring for 2-3 minutes...
Add onion paste, and add all powder masalas to it..keep stirring on & off for 3-4 minutes then add tomato puree... keep it covered and then remove the lid and add kaju & melon powder..also
100 ml water let it boil for2 minutes add cream ( optional) & kasuri methi powder and keep stirring for 2 minutes..
Then add paneer pieces and switch off the gas..
Add the garnish and it's ready to be served...
Hve it with jeera rice or bread of your choice..
