Our family goes for numerous short vacations by road. We all enjoy the scenic view of the long rides. Last year, we were driving to Silvasa, we encountered a specially bumpy dirt track. For about 10 minutes the car rattled and rolled in it. After this bad patch, we decided to take a short break. When we were ready to move again, my younger son cajoled, “Daddy, may we go over the bumps again.”

My in-laws were visiting us and whenever it rained my father-in-law had taught my almost 2 yr old son to sing - "Rain, rain go away. My papa has to find his way. I am bored without him, go and rain at Kim." Next month we went to Washington and there it started to rain all of a suddenly and along with all the other people we ran for shelter. Before anyone of us could realise, my son ran into the rain shouting - "Rain, rain go away.........." After we caught him and brought him back to a dry place

When my daughter Tanisha was around 11-12 months old she started speaking few words like "papa","du-du" for milk etc. One fine day when she woke from her afternoon nap she got amazed looking outside the window and she started shouting "du-du"...."du-du". you know what?? it was the first snow fall of the season and her first experience of snow. I couldn't stop laughing at her.
