Just a 2 days back we all were sitting after dinner in the sitting room and My daughter who is 2 and a half years old started doing naughty things and I just ordered her Khushi don't dirty your face and we all started talking and got busy again, after 2 minutes she came from inside room with a purse in which she put a diary, a brush and pen and a few more things and was running towards the door I asked her Khushi aap kahan ja rahe ho, Khushi answered Neha Main Canada ja rahi hoon, gusha hoke....

My son (4 1/2 yrs) asks me lot of questions. I am listing a few which I remember.

1) whether corn is a fruit or vegetable?

2) whether flower is a boy or girl?

3) One day when I was rearranging photo album, he saw a photo in which I was pregnant, he asked me why my stomatch was big. Then I told him that he was in my stomatch. Then he was worried and he said 'Mom, Please don't swallow me again, I am a good boy now'.

My sister-in-law was teaching her 2 year old son to recite ‘The Prayer to the Lord.’ He started with, “My father, who art in heaven Hallowed be thy name Thy kingdom come Thy will be done On earth as it is in heaven (so far, so good) Give us this day, our daily biscuit (oops) So she asked him to repeat the last line. He said, ‘Give us this day our daily bread-stick’ (oops, again!) It was only after she had fed him, that he managed to get it right!

Our daughter Reina is 1yr old now. We have bought few cardboard books for her. We have taught her 'Tomato' and 'Onion' and she knows to pronounce them well. Whenever we ask her to say 'Tomato' she'll say 'Onion'. So one day I asked her to say 'Onion' with a hope that she would say 'Onion' but immediately she said 'Tomato'. We all burst out in laughter and wonder of how she could think and say the other word purposely. Same thing happens with A, B, C... Whenever we ask her to say A, She'll say B.
