Showing affection to children by offering a kiss can work wonders for their overall development. It can help them to develop in a more loving and caring person. Let us take a look at the positive effects of parent’s magic kiss on the growth and development of children.

Kids crave physical affection from parents, especially those who are going up. It has been noticed that most parents hug their children and tell them how much they love them every day which generates a sense of well being and positivity at the home front. But the effects of a parent’s kiss can be magical as well.

Importance of Showing Physical Affection

Various scientific researches and studies have proved that physical affection and warmth in parent-child relationship has been associated with positive results for the children. Better parent-child relationship by kissing and showing love physically has been linked directly with high self esteem and fewer psychological issues in the child.

Parents kissing the child and proudly showing their affection to their child has also been positively related to high academic performance, impressive personality and increased productivity.

The Magic of Showing Physical Affection to Your Kid by Kissing

When a parent shows her affection through kissing their child, it encourages the child to develop social and problem solving qualities along with having a proactive personality. If you do not shower your child with enough kisses every day, it can conversely foster feelings of hostility, irritation, alienation, aggression, reduced self esteem, being antisocial and violent behaviour patterns.

According to a survey, 87% of parents who kiss and show physical affection to their child (under age of 15) at least once a day make a better family and experience less conflict at home. It has also been associated with increased academic output in the kids with a cheerful attitude and decent personality.

Encouraging Proper Growth and Development of Your Child

Parents always have an instinctive need to kiss their child and celebrate the bond of parent and child relationship and it has been proved that this habit can increase your child’s growth and development in a good way. According to a latest scientific publication in Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health, it has been established that parents who kiss their kids affectionately and remain attentive to their needs have children that grow up to be more resilient, more prepared and less depressed adults.

Kissing your child not only promotes healthy emotional growth and mental stability it also causes lower levels of distress in your kids as they grow up. More warmth in the form of kisses by parents led to a better overall growth and development in kids.

Developing Children into Cheerful and Considerate Adults

If you want your child to develop into a secure, resilient person and who is good adult, a good parent, a good family maker and a successful person in her life, it is suggested that you show physical affection to her in the form of hugs. By kissing your kid and making her feel wanted, you transform her into care giver from a very early age which makes them desirable among peers.

Making Children More Affectionate and Peaceful

Did you know that showing affection to your kids in the form of kiss can have a positive touch and turn them into a kinder and more peaceful adult than usual? Also, kissing your kid has been reported to make her more affectionate, intelligent and to be more considerate to others. Studies have proved that showing affection to your kid in the form of kiss shows that you love them and respect them for what they are. This can make them self sufficient, smart and reap them big benefits early in life.

Hence, it proves that showing physical affection to your children, especially in the form of kisses, can have more advantages for your child than you can imagine. So always make it a point to kiss them, tell them how much you love them and how proud you are of them to develop them into a happy and successful person.
