Miscarriage can be prevented if a pregnant woman stays conscious and careful. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and just taking into account few precautions is enough. You simply have to avoid and deal with difficult situations during pregnancy. However, if miscarriage is due to genetic abnormalities, it is hard to prevent.

There are certain conditions that trigger miscarriage and if a woman is able to avoid these situations, she will be able to avoid miscarriage also. Just keep in mind that there are no pills or a magic stick that can save you from miscarriage. A pregnant woman has to be aware of her priorities and responsibilities.

Causes of Miscarriage

Following are the common causes of miscarriage.

  • Taking unbalanced diet
  • Performing vigorous and injurious activities or physical injuries
  • Emotional shock or high level of stress
  • Excessive intake of birth control pills
  • Defects in uterus or tumors or other problems in uterus
  • Diabetes or high blood pressure
  • Excessive smoking or drinking
  • Hormonal imbalance
  • Thyroid problem or kidney problem
  • Growing age
  • Abnormal embryo or frequent pregnancy

In addition to all this, there can be conditional and other problems too that can cause miscarriage. Many conditions can be avoided and a pregnant woman can take necessary precautions.

Following are the common symptoms of miscarriage.

  • The woman experiences severe pain in genital regions and stomach. Pay attention to any kind of even slight but abnormal pain in your abdomen.
  • Infections, Bleeding and membrane breaking are also some of the symptoms of miscarriage.

Tips for Preventing Miscarriage

Follow these tips for preventing miscarriage.

Health –

You can prevent pregnancy by making your body healthy and baby friendly as well. Pay attention to your diet and see to it that you take at least one full and proper meal everyday. Take into account that the calories you need and the nutrients you need get fulfilled in natural form. Though there are certain Vitamins and minerals that can be provided to the pregnant woman only through supplements, you can get maximum components naturally also.

Physical fitness –

This is extremely important and for this you can join classes that teach you the right form of exercise and yoga that will help you have good results and strengthen the probabilities of getting positive results through your pregnancy also. Make sure you have a good instructor and you consult your doctor beforehand as well.

Check up –

Get your check ups done regularly and monitor the growth of your child with the help of professional assistance. Consult with your doctor and ask any question you want to ask regarding your pregnancy, child birth or the child itself.

Eat nutritious and fertility food –

Always remember that the food you eat has direct and indirect impact on the health of your fetus, decreases chances of miscarriage, strengthens your reproductive system and helps maintain your hormonal balance too.

Healthy foundation –

Building a healthy foundation is very important. Pay attention to the intake of fresh fruits and vegetables. Multivitamins and omega 3 supplements also help in making positive the environment and prevent miscarriage and other misshapenness as well.

There are certain points that every pregnant woman should keep in mind. Take ample rest especially during the first and last three months. Avoid lifting any kind of heavy thing and avoid vigorous activities. Try to remain stress free and avoid alcohol and smoking. Stay away from people who smoke too. In case of any abnormality, consult your doctor immediately.
