  • Saffron – 1 pinch
  • Cardamom powder – 1 pinch
Procedure
– Add all the ingredients to milk and boil it for few minutes. Once milk cools down keep it in refrigerator so that it gets chilled. Now pour this in a glass and serve.

Mango Shake or Smoothie

Ingredients
  • Mangoes – 2
  • Powdered sugar – 2 to 3 tea spoon
  • Chilled full cream milk – 1/4 glass
  • Ice cubes – 4 to 5 (crushed)
Procedure
- Slice the mangoes and blend in the blender to get smooth pulp. Add sugar, milk and crushed ice into it and whisk blend. Serve in glass and add finely chopped nuts if your kids like that.

Lassi with Rose Flavour

Ingredients
  • Curd – 2 cups
  • Powdered sugar – 4 tea spoon
  • Rose syrup – 1 tea spoon
  • Ice cubes – 4 to 5
Procedure
– Blend curd, sugar and crushed ice for few seconds, do not over blend it. Add sugar syrup and stir well. Pour in the glass and serve.

Colourful Fruits Smoothie

Ingredients
  • Seasonal fruits
  • Ice cubes – crushed
Procedure
– Add the small pieces of fruits in the blender and blend. Now add crushed ice and blend for few seconds. Serve immediately.

Punjabi Dahi Aaloo

Ingredients
  • Boiled potatoes – 3 – 4
  • Curd – 2 cups
  • Salt – 1/4 tea spoon
  • Cardamom – 1 tea spoon
  • Chilli powder – 1/4 tea spoon
  • Coriander leaves – finely chopped
Procedure
– Whisk the curd in a bowl. Cut boiled potatoes in small pieces and add them to the curd. Now roast cardamom seeds and dry grind them. Add this powder to the bowl along with salt and chilli powder. Mix well. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves. You can also add mint leaves (fresh or dry powdered) depending on the taste of your child. Kids will like this with the meal or as snacks also.
