Skipping breakfast is very dangerous and the worst thing. This leads to various diseases and this habit can badly smash up your health. Body needs food in the morning because it has been under fast for last 10 – 12 hours. Refueling of the body is essential because it needs food and energy for the entire day’s work.

There are some misconceptions that prevail in many people’s mind. Many believe that skipping breakfast will make them lose weight or thinner. This is absolutely wrong and even if you are on a weight loss program, you need to have timely and nutritious breakfast. If you start your day without breakfast, you will feel lethargic and fatigued very fast. Not only this, your metabolic rate will decrease and your target of weight loss will not be received.

Healthy breakfast is ideal when it includes protein, complex carbohydrates and lots of fiber. These are the sources of energy and give nutrition and fuel to the body to perform mental and physical activities. When an ideal breakfast is taken, it gives your day a kick start and helps you remain energetic throughout the day too.

You should try to encourage children to get used to this way of living from the very beginning. Try to make breakfast tasty and take care of the nutrition also. If you are able to get this habit into your children, they will get the benefit throughout their life.
