My 2 years old (2yrs and 3mths) daughter Khushi is very smart and ya 'hi-tech'. She don't like to play with anything thats not electronic and her favourite is my LAPTOP. She knew how to start and shut down the computer when she was 1 1/2 yrs old. Now she knows how to open WORD, POWER-POINT, MY PICTURES etc... We have purchased an invertor and kept it another bedroom. My little prince "Aaryan" whenever went to that room, used to touch the invertor buttons. Whenever he touched, I would point out my fingre and said "No"....oo". Now whenever Aryan sees the Invertor, he stands in front of it and says, pointing out his fingre "Nooo".

My son got up and said, 'What if someone read it as dr. for doctor and nr. for nurse. The whole class started laughing.

When we were in the US, my two year old son used to play with a Hindi speaking neighbour. We are Telugu people and he picked up a few hindi words like Chappal pahano, ghumne chale, thak gaye ho??, etc etc. from his hindi speaking aunty. Once he wanted to say remove the chappals to her and didn't know what to say. So, he finally told Chappal pahano nahin!!!

Our daughter Reina is 1yr old now. We have bought few cardboard books for her. We have taught her 'Tomato' and 'Onion' and she knows to pronounce them well. Whenever we ask her to say 'Tomato' she'll say 'Onion'. So one day I asked her to say 'Onion' with a hope that she would say 'Onion' but immediately she said 'Tomato'. We all burst out in laughter and wonder of how she could think and say the other word purposely. Same thing happens with A, B, C... Whenever we ask her to say A, She'll say B.
