I had to run a few errands, so as I came down the stairs I heard her telling her friends loudly, “here comes my step-mom.” I asked her why she would say a thing like that. My little (3.5 yrs old) one came back from preschool one day while I was working upstairs he came up and showed me a picture he had made in the art class. I happily hugged him and said good job. My daughter has turned one now.One day my sister was carring her and she dropped her doll and asked me to pick it up I did the same. She then started playing the same with me. I thought I should stop her from doing this and so I kept my hand below where ever she took the doll and suddenly she turned and throwed it on the other side and she enjoyed it and I picked it up with proud face as I could see her act in a second but other family members were laughing at me.

My sister-in-law was teaching her 2 year old son to recite ‘The Prayer to the Lord.’ He started with, “My father, who art in heaven Hallowed be thy name Thy kingdom come Thy will be done On earth as it is in heaven (so far, so good) Give us this day, our daily biscuit (oops) So she asked him to repeat the last line. He said, ‘Give us this day our daily bread-stick’ (oops, again!) It was only after she had fed him, that he managed to get it right!
