My friend's daugther Pooja is 2yrs + old and she's pretty smart for her age. When they visited us, I was few months pregnant, and so her mom warned her not to jump on me, and told her that i had a baby in my tummy. I used to go for regular walks, and so after couple of days, I asked Pooja if she would like to come with me for a walk, immediatly she said..."No! you go, you have a Baby in your tummy" I was really surprised how she could link two and two together.

When my daughter was a year round, she had the habit of picking dirty pebbles off the road. To break this habit, I had told her that the pebbles would be dirty as the stray dogs would have peed on them. After 3 months of telling her this, her habit broke off. When we were in an american store, at one corner she was doing so... we ignored that. We observed her twice doing same while crossing same place... Whenever we ask her to say 'Tomato' she'll say 'Onion'. So one day I asked her to say 'Onion' with a hope that she would say 'Onion' but immediately she said 'Tomato'. We all burst out in laughter and wonder of how she could think and say the other word purposely. Same thing happens with A, B, C... Whenever we ask her to say A, She'll say B.
