This morning, I had to punish my daughter for talking back rudely. Later in the evening she went down to play with her friends. I had to run a few errands, so as I came down the stairs I heard her telling her friends loudly, “here comes my step-mom.” I asked her why she would say a thing like that. He said, ‘Give us this day our daily bread-stick’ (oops, again!) It was only after she had fed him, that he managed to get it right!

When my daughter was a year round, she had the habit of picking dirty pebbles off the road. To break this habit, I had told her that the pebbles would be dirty as the stray dogs would have peed on them. After 3 months of telling her this, her habit broke off. My little one gaped at his stomach for a few minutes, and then, much to his embarrassment, and mine said, “look mummy, this man is going to have a baby.”
