I had to run a few errands, so as I came down the stairs I heard her telling her friends loudly, “here comes my step-mom.” I asked her why she would say a thing like that. My 1 year and 4 months old baby catches new words v.fastly. b4 i month i removed her hairs. then i alwaz put on her a cap but in starting she alwaz threw her cap.Once my 1 friend saw her 2 do so she said yakhhhhhhhh... coconut &she touch her head. since that day my baby alwaz wears her cap even if i remove she touch her hear by her little finger &says "nanut"....

Our daughter Reina is 1yr old now. We have bought few cardboard books for her. We have taught her 'Tomato' and 'Onion' and she knows to pronounce them well. Whenever we ask her to say 'Tomato' she'll say 'Onion'. So one day I asked her to say 'Onion' with a hope that she would say 'Onion' but immediately she said 'Tomato'. We all burst out in laughter and wonder of how she could think and say the other word purposely. Same thing happens with A, B, C... Whenever we ask her to say A, She'll say B.

When my daughter Tanisha was around 11-12 months old she started speaking few words like "papa","du-du" for milk etc. One fine day when she woke from her afternoon nap she got amazed looking outside the window and she started shouting "du-du"...."du-du". you know what?? it was the first snow fall of the season and her first experience of snow. I couldn't stop laughing at her.
