My little (3.5 yrs old) one came back from preschool one day while I was working upstairs he came up and showed me a picture he had made in the art class. I happily hugged him and said good job. We both went downstairs to kitchen and I checked his lunch bag, he hadn't eaten anything at lunch so I frowned and said why didn't you eat anything, how come you were not hungry. He immediately retorted back saying - You were happy with me upstairs , what happened downstairs , you are angry with me now,

This happened last week when i had kept milk for boiling on the gas and I sat down in the hall wiht my 2 yr old daughter RRhea watching TV and playing with her. Our family goes for numerous short vacations by road. We all enjoy the scenic view of the long rides. Last year, we were driving to Silvasa, we encountered a specially bumpy dirt track. When we were ready to move again, my younger son cajoled, “Daddy, may we go over the bumps again.”

Our daughter Reina is 1yr old now. We have bought few cardboard books for her. We have taught her 'Tomato' and 'Onion' and she knows to pronounce them well. Whenever we ask her to say 'Tomato' she'll say 'Onion'. So one day I asked her to say 'Onion' with a hope that she would say 'Onion' but immediately she said 'Tomato'. We all burst out in laughter and wonder of how she could think and say the other word purposely. Same thing happens with A, B, C... Whenever we ask her to say A, She'll say B.

When my son Nasser was in class fifth, the Maths teacher was explaining the Numerator and denominator. He was using short forms for them. Dr. for denominator and Nr. for numerator. My son got up and said, 'What if someone read it as dr. for doctor and nr. for nurse. The whole class started laughing.
