My eighteen month old son Vishnu was trying to get my attention as I watched TV by throwing his small toys at me. His dad, who was watching Vishnu, said to him "Don't do that. 'Kaan pakad kar sorry bolo beta'". Vishnu promptly climbed onto my lap and pulled MY ears to say that he was sorry.

My daughter was three years old when we visited Vaishno Devi shrine with her. I took her to my office one day. One of my colleagues asked her name and she said "Suvarna" in a low voice. My colleague could not hear and said "Jor Se Bolo" (speak louder) and my daughter instantly replied "Jai Mata Ki".

My daughter has turned one now.One day my sister was carring her and she dropped her doll and asked me to pick it up I did the same. She then started playing the same with me. I thought I should stop her from doing this and so I kept my hand below where ever she took the doll and suddenly she turned and throwed it on the other side and she enjoyed it and I picked it up with proud face as I could see her act in a second but other family members were laughing at me.

If my 14 months baby see god, immediately she keeps her hands together while closing her eyes, 'Dachi' (Namaskar). Only once I taught her to do so. When we were in an american store, at one corner she was doing so... we ignored that. We observed her twice doing same while crossing same place... When we saw that place we're surprised to see one small show piece, White Elephant was there painted it's parts in gold paint! Really it's amazing that piece was made in sacred Desi Style!!!! My friend's daugther Pooja is 2yrs + old and she's pretty smart for her age. When they visited us, I was few months pregnant, and so her mom warned her not to jump on me, and told her that i had a baby in my tummy. I used to go for regular walks, and so after couple of days, I asked Pooja if she would like to come with me for a walk, immediatly she said..."No! you go, you have a Baby in your tummy" I was really surprised how she could link two and two together.
