When my daughter was a year round, she had the habit of picking dirty pebbles off the road. My cute little boy is just one yr old. He can walk well without support. Whenever he comes across tiny bits of paper on the floor he quickly picks it up & puts it in the waste basket. I always encourage him to do so by appreciating it immediately. One day I was busy cutting carrots for dinner. As I was in a hurry I was cutting them so fast that few pieces fell down to the floor from the chopping board. My little one quickly picked them up & threw it in the waste basket.
