We were having a barbaque and he asked his "dada when are the prawns cooked" and my husband replied "yat crook jau sook" but to my 2 year old. his understanding of 'cook' n 'sook' means the food is ready to eat and he just looked at my husband and said' it mens the same dada'.

Last year, my sister and I went on a holiday abroad. Even though my sister does not get along too well with my nephew, we stayed at my brother’s house on the outskirts of Liverpool. My little one gaped at his stomach for a few minutes, and then, much to his embarrassment, and mine said, “look mummy, this man is going to have a baby.”
