Our family goes for numerous short vacations by road. We all enjoy the scenic view of the long rides. Last year, we were driving to Silvasa, we encountered a specially bumpy dirt track. For about 10 minutes the car rattled and rolled in it. After this bad patch, we decided to take a short break. When we were ready to move again, my younger son cajoled, “Daddy, may we go over the bumps again.”

Our daughter Reina is 1yr old now. We have bought few cardboard books for her. We have taught her 'Tomato' and 'Onion' and she knows to pronounce them well. Whenever we ask her to say 'Tomato' she'll say 'Onion'. So one day I asked her to say 'Onion' with a hope that she would say 'Onion' but immediately she said 'Tomato'. We all burst out in laughter and wonder of how she could think and say the other word purposely. Same thing happens with A, B, C... Whenever we ask her to say A, She'll say B.

Some days back I told my daughter, 3 years old, that the food that she takes goes to stomach and from there to other parts of the body and if she does not take food, the parts of the body would cry including her eyes. So one day when the little one was playing with some toy, the elder one tried to grab it from his hand and I told her not to do and to let him play. Promptly she replied *when I become small I shall play with it*. I could not resist my laugh.
