My eighteen month old son Vishnu was trying to get my attention as I watched TV by throwing his small toys at me. His dad, who was watching Vishnu, said to him "Don't do that. 'Kaan pakad kar sorry bolo beta'". Vishnu promptly climbed onto my lap and pulled MY ears to say that he was sorry.

This happened last week when i had kept milk for boiling on the gas and I sat down in the hall wiht my 2 yr old daughter RRhea watching TV and playing with her. Our daughter Reina is 1yr old now. We have bought few cardboard books for her. We have taught her 'Tomato' and 'Onion' and she knows to pronounce them well. Whenever we ask her to say 'Tomato' she'll say 'Onion'. So one day I asked her to say 'Onion' with a hope that she would say 'Onion' but immediately she said 'Tomato'. We all burst out in laughter and wonder of how she could think and say the other word purposely. Same thing happens with A, B, C... Whenever we ask her to say A, She'll say B.
