I have two children one (daughter) is almost going to be 3 years and second son is 9 months. Usually the elder one has the habit of copying whatever we do and we tell her that once she grows big like mamma, papa she can also do that. Promptly she replied *when I become small I shall play with it*. I could not resist my laugh.

My sister-in-law was teaching her 2 year old son to recite ‘The Prayer to the Lord.’ He started with, “My father, who art in heaven Hallowed be thy name Thy kingdom come Thy will be done On earth as it is in heaven (so far, so good) Give us this day, our daily biscuit (oops) So she asked him to repeat the last line. He said, ‘Give us this day our daily bread-stick’ (oops, again!) It was only after she had fed him, that he managed to get it right!

We were having a barbaque and he asked his "dada when are the prawns cooked" and my husband replied "yat crook jau sook" but to my 2 year old. his understanding of 'cook' n 'sook' means the food is ready to eat and he just looked at my husband and said' it mens the same dada'.
