When my daughter was a year round, she had the habit of picking dirty pebbles off the road. To break this habit, I had told her that the pebbles would be dirty as the stray dogs would have peed on them. After 3 months of telling her this, her habit broke off. When she was a 1.5 yrs old, during a noon nap, she wanted a story. I started with the smart crow that drank water from a pitcher by dropping pebbles into it. My daughter has turned one now.One day my sister was carring her and she dropped her doll and asked me to pick it up I did the same. She then started playing the same with me. I thought I should stop her from doing this and so I kept my hand below where ever she took the doll and suddenly she turned and throwed it on the other side and she enjoyed it and I picked it up with proud face as I could see her act in a second but other family members were laughing at me.

Our daughter Reina is 1yr old now. We have bought few cardboard books for her. We have taught her 'Tomato' and 'Onion' and she knows to pronounce them well. Whenever we ask her to say 'Tomato' she'll say 'Onion'. So one day I asked her to say 'Onion' with a hope that she would say 'Onion' but immediately she said 'Tomato'. We all burst out in laughter and wonder of how she could think and say the other word purposely. Same thing happens with A, B, C... Whenever we ask her to say A, She'll say B.
