Why You Should Never Make Your Child Feel Worse

There are lot of ill effects which children may face if they are made feel worse frequently. Here is why you should never make your child feel worse.

Children should never be made feel worse or neglected. It has negative impacts on kids which can take turn to deadly outcomes if not dealt with properly. Here are some of the outcomes discussed which may happen when kids are made to feel worse.

Frustration

Feeling low leads to frustration in everyone and so for the kids. They start disbelieving their own self, and having wrong ideas about everything in life. They start ignoring reality and live in a state of dreams where everything seems so easy and without any problem. They try to run away from the harsh realities of life and want to get everything in a smooth way. And when they are unable to get things their way they take drastic steps that even take a toll in their lives.

Stubbornness

When kids are repeatedly rebuked and accused in front of everyone, they start feeling embarrassed and low. At some point of time these rebuking stop working as kids get used to such reprimands and scolding. They tend to become stubborn and stick to the ill behaviour that they are used to do when they are accused by the elders of the family. They start ignoring to the warnings that their parents give them and start taking the things for granted. So stop making your kids feel worse and try to be friendly with them.

Self Confidence is Hampered

Feeling low can hamper a child’s confidence level. Once the confidence level is hampered your child will be scared to take risks and will be afraid of failures. If he or she cannot take risks in life, it will be hard for him or her to reach to the pinnacle of success. So stop making your child feel worse about himself or herself and about the situations involving him or her.

Do Not Respect Others

When kids are left feeling humiliated they will stop respecting others. They will also try to humiliate others without any reason and make you ashamed of their behaviour. They will start behaving in an ill mannered way with everyone around them.

Maintain Distance

When kids start feeling worse about themselves they will start keeping themselves at bay from others. They will try to hide from everyone and cannot come face to face with anyone because they start feeling embarrassed of themselves.

Lose Friends

Keeping a distance from everyone will result in losing friends and dear ones from their life as their friends will once or twice request them to join them but when they find them keeping a distance from their friends they will also start to avoid them thereby leaving them alone.

Hating One’s Own Self and Others

Worse feelings about one’s own self ultimately results in hating one’s own self and also others surrounding him or her. They may sometimes express their hatred towards others that may be very insulting for themselves as for the others who realize that your kids hate them without any specific reason.

Revenge

Hating others result in vengeance which may have a deadly outcome. Your kids will become restless to take revenge on those who make them feel worse. This may sometimes become sanguinary and may involve committing crimes for which your kids may have to suffer the rest of their life.

Academics Suffer

Low feeling can also hamper the studies of your kids and their grades may start falling rapidly. For this you need to take your kids to a proper counsellor so that they get out of this problem soon.

Lack of Concentration

Once your kids start feeling low and they become unable to concentrate in anything and as a result their endeavours to do anything productive fail.

Find out if your kid needs a medical counselling and take him or her to the counsellor as soon as possible.
