antioxidants are very essential to maintain a good eye health. It helps
prevent night blindness and also reduces the risk of age related eye
disorders.
Besides all this, there are some common eye disorders and it
is not necessary that they are serious. Sometimes it is allergy, infection, inflammation,
broken blood vessels or trauma due to which the symptoms occur.
Allergy –
Allergies can be treated with cold-hot compressions keeping the eyelids closed.
If this does not sooth your eyes, consult your doctor for further and detail
advice.
Injury – If there
is any eye injury, putting ice bags on closed eyes will bring a lot of relief.
This can also work as a first aid tip and you can bring some relief to the pain
and swelling till the doctor attends the patient.
Itching – Itching
of eyes is most often not a big problem. You can get relief by putting ice packs
on your eyes. Avoid rubbing your eyes. Sometimes itching happens due to dryness
of eyes and this happens usually with the people who sit in front of computer
for long hours.
No matter what your eye problem is, you should not panic or
avoid it. Try to give some relief with the help of cold compresses as this is
useful in many cases. If the problem persists, you should immediately see a
doctor.
