There are many changes that are observed during the first four months and gradually starts sleeping for longer hours after few days. The main thing is that you should be assured that your infant is properly fed. You can find this if your baby seems alert and active, her weight is growing steadily and takes the feed 6 – 8 times a day. Also make sure she wets and soils the diapers at some intervals of time.

How Much should you Feed?

But when he is fed with the feeding bottle it becomes very difficult to decide beforehand how much the infant is going to consume. Usually he will consume 4 or 5 ounces of milk in the beginning of third month and may be one additional ounce will get added to each feed by the end of the third month.
In the first month, your infant will most often sleep and you will have to make him feed at regular intervals. The only thing is that you will observe that the infant will increase the quantity gradually and the number of times will get reduced. You will observe the changes within every week and this will help you decide and feed your infant accordingly.
