Healthy Eating For Toddlers

Getting a toddler eat right can be really challenging. As a parent you want your child to eat the right thing in the right amount and avoid junk food completely. However, this is a tough job, yet you can do that with patience and keeping few things in mind you can encourage your toddler to eat healthy as well.

Teaching Hygiene to Toddler

Teach your child to wash her hands before and after eating, after playing, after coming back from school, touching animals and going to the toilet. Make sure she uses soap and water to wash her hands to the wrist and then dries her hands with a clean and dry towel.
To keep your child clean and healthy, promote regular baths and showers. During summers you can also encourage bathing in the evening or at night. Taking bath at night is also an enjoyable bedtime routine. Children should be taught to clean their private parts and dry them properly as well. You will have to guide initially and afterwards that will become a daily habit.
Make it a habit to brush your child’s teeth twice daily. This will keep her teeth healthy and she will stay away from common teeth problems children usually face.

They find out who they are and what their position in the world is. The time that parents spend when playing with their child is very important because this helps the child learn a lot in different ways.

The relationship that parents have with their children actually provides the basics of their social and emotional development. The best thing that parents should do is to endow them with a sense of trust. Parents should start inculcating this sense in children right from infancy because children give straightforward signals by crying or smiling. Attend your child immediately so that she develops secure attachment with you.
