  • Male sterilization is considered a highly effective measure and you must not perform this surgery if you wish to become a father in the future.
  • Although, there are reversal processes available, but they can be complex, the success rates tend to vary and these can be highly expensive as well.
  • While you can resume most of your activities within 3 days of the procedure, more rigorous activities like intercourse can be resumed only after a week.
  • You must not forget to use a contraceptive before one negative sperm check after 90 days or before you had at least 20 ejaculations.
  • Vasectomy does not interfere with your usual sex drive, ability to orgasm or ejaculate. However, you need not feel worried, if you experience mild pain in the testicles during intercourse after few months of surgery. This shall be gone in few more days.
  • Do not expect this method to protect you from sexually transmitted diseases.
