Makar SankrantMakar Sankrant is the first Indian festival in the beginning of every year. Falling on Jan 14,  it is one of the most auspicious times as per the solar calendar year of the Hindu religion. This festival coincides with the Sun's northward journey (Uttarayan). The Sun enters the zodiac sign of Makar (Capricorn) on Jan 14. Sankrant means the transition from one zodiac sign to another. It is a special date when the day and night are of equal duration. The duration of the day becomes longer henceforth. To celebrate this auspicious season with you, presents an exciting Sankrant feast.
