Foetal Foetal Low Weight >>>
Q: I am 8 months pregnant. Recently I had undergone an ultrasound on the advice of my doctor, in which my foetal weight came out to be only 1.8kg. My family doctor has voiced the fear that I may not have normal delivery but a caesarean. She has advised complete bed rest and I may also put on saline drips. Kindly advice as to what should I do? A: Do not worry – the baby will gain weight by the time you deliver and it should be okay. Take a high protein diet and plenty of liquids till then. |
