10 Things Your Kids Must Do Every Day

10 Things Your Kids Must Do Every Day
Encouraging kids to do certain things every day can help to raise them into well balanced individuals. Let us take a look at the top 10 things your kids must do every day.

The concept of parenting in this frenetic device obsessed world has changed radically. However, there are a few universal activities that can greatly benefit your children if they practice these every day. Here are the top 10 things you should ensure that your child does.

Exercise

Nothing can beat the therapeutic power of exercise and you should definitely ensure that your kids get some precious exercise time every day. Even if they have super busy schedules it is your duty to inspire, motivate and ask them to engage in a physically vigorous act every day. Exercise helps the digestive function, pumps up the blood circulation and boosts the immunity.

Eating Healthy

One of the things that will build robust health of your kid is nutritious food. Introduce your children to healthy food from a very young age so that they get used to eating healthy. Whatever you teach them from childhood will stick with them and helping them reach out for oatmeal raisin cookies over candy bars is a habit you will incorporate.

Praying Every Day

Praying is a therapeutic force that cleanses out the mind and refreshes the spirit. When you teach your kid to pray you automatically inspire a respectful attitude towards the almighty. A prayer every day will soothe the mind and unleash a streak of positivity in your kid.

Helping Out at Home

When your child helps out at home regularly he or she learns that is important to contribute towards the family. This habit will in time build a responsible and respectful attitude. Every day your kid should do some act (however small it might be) to help out at home.

Eating Meals Together

Ensure that your kid at least has two meals per day with the family. Eating together strengthens the family bond and reinforces the good concept that meal times are family times. Of course you should act as a role model teaching your kid the importance of eating meals together.

Talking About Their Day

It is important to ensure that your kids let you know how their day went each and every day. Confide details of your workday to your kid and encourage them to talk about theirs. This act ensures that you are in touch with whatever is happening in your kid’s life.

Cleaning up After Themselves

Apart from very young kids who need to be taken care of completely, all children should be expected to clean up their own mess. Ask your kid to keep back toys in place after playtime and to ensure that they wipe up (or at least try to wipe up) anything they might have spilled. Not only will kids become more responsible they will also learn to be less clumsy by default.

Ensuring Hygiene

Your kids should learn to brush their teeth every day, take a bath every day and maintain general cleanliness. All kids over the age of 5 should do these things every day without being prompted by their parents.

Saying Thank You

You kid should definitely say “thank you” or any other person when they receive a favour or help. Saying thank you is not limited to specific occasions like thanksgiving, birthdays and other events when they receive gifts. Thank you is a phrase that expresses gratefulness towards any gracious act.

Doing their Homework

All early middle school and older children should do their school projects or homework independently. Make sure that they are there to guide but not to take care of their work for them.
These 10 disciplined and essential habits will motivate your kid to lead a better quality and more responsible life in future. Do your best to ensure that these 10 things get done by your kids every day.

Which activities should be carried out by kids every day? How to help kids develop a routine? What are the benefits of following a healthy routine or a healthy lifestyle? Discuss here.

Very interesting, we must encourage kids to do set of these things or make our own set of things for them to inculcate good discipline, manners and behaviour in them.
