  • Sleep to avoid unsettled stomach or nausea. Take proper rest and do not try hard to wake up.
  • Increase intake of Vitamin B6 which is in nuts, whole grains, peas, beans and seeds. However, if you are planning to take the supplement, consult your doctor first.
  • Ginger tea, ginger candy, ginger soda and ginger lollipops help prevent nausea.
  • Taking morning walk in open and fresh air will also help a lot. Reduce the intake of spicy and fatty food items.

Follow these tips and observe which one works better. Just keep in mind that morning sickness is common in pregnant women and it normally subsides within first 2 – 3 months. In some women this leads to mood swings and depression. There is nothing to worry about because plenty of hormonal changes go on during this period.
