Coconut Water

This is an excellent thirst quencher and is easily available in India. Costing you around forty to fifty rupees, coconut water is a refreshing summer drink which boosts the immune system and keeps your child healthy. This low calorie beverage contains electrolytes and minerals which will nourish your child. It prevents dehydration and can be had by toddlers also. This energizing liquid is sweet to taste and ideal for all age groups. It will boost your children’s immune system.

Lemonade

Lemonade is a citrusy drink for the summer which is refreshing and energizing. Loaded with Vitamin C, this beverage prevents colds and flu. You can add sugar or salt to make it tasty. Rose syrup is very easily available in the shops nowadays unlike earlier times.

Buttermilk or Chaas

Buttermilk or Chaas is a common summertime drink in India. You can really relish a glass of buttermilk by adding coriander, cumin powder and some ripe green chillies. Just take some yoghurt, water and add these ingredients to the mixture. You can use your blender and prepare this drink within few minutes. It aids in digestion and helps in weight loss as well. Many households in North India consider their meal incomplete without a glass of buttermilk at the end. It is great for overall health.
