Hi,why don't you try WSI franchisee system by virtue of which you can comfortably work at home with negligible* infrastructure. All you need is a computer with high-speed internet connection. They are the fastest growing and credible franchisee system in the world. No need for any previous computer knowledge; they train (with certification) people from the scratch and help get things started. They have franchisees in about 87 countries. Check this out at wsicorporate website Scrutinize their business terms, speak with their customer support person, and make your decision. Best of luck with your entrepreneurship !

* An investment is needed as in any franchisee setup.

Hello, I feel IT industry is saturated and the competition to survive is increasing. you should try in other fields. You can start a day care center, can start a indian Restaurant .But if you have decided that you want to do something in IT then you can setup sourcing facility in India and can operate it from here. This sourcing facility basically find out the openings in US and places candidates in US but the head hunting and the job hunting is done from India.this requires contacts in US and probably cople of trips to India. You can start legal transcription it is siilar to medical transcription ,this also has to be done from India.Hope you like these ideas.Other than these you can take up Franchisee like subways, dunkin etc. All the very best for you business

There are many things you can do from home. Since you are saying software, the one thing you can do is bid and undertake software projects on a contract basis. You can go to sologig website and for a very reasonable subscription fee, you get access to hundreds and thousands of projects to bid upon. You can do the software development yourself or you can make it into a business hiring a few people to do the projects you win. You can bid and get the projects and then hire people to do them for you. A second option is consider Medical Transcription business. It is growing very rapidly and once again you can do it by yourself and slowly transform into a small business. A third option is having a busines on eBay. A lot of people make several thousands of dollars a month by buying brand name goods from the manufacturers and selling them on eBay. None of these necessitates your going out of the house for extended periods of time. You do have to take into consideration the time and effort required to network and establish yourself.

I would suggest to start a trading business on cotton fabric. This has a good scalability and can be easily expanded to the other regions in your area. You can wither buy a small shop or can operate from your home. India is good producer of fine cotton material that can either be chosen or selected on web and shortlisted. You can also try in hadicrafts and applique, or silk material later on.First of course you need to study the buying patterns in the local market, capacity and the trend. You can always start small, plan well and grow further. This will also allow to work from homw or a nearby place and you can \"; brand\"; on your name after the initial establishment.
The extensions to this are many, like you can go in services trying to porvide stiching or embroidery or curtains or.. fashion designing. On thing that is must at this stage is to understand the local need and chekc your own desire, You should love the work that you will be doing. Then it builds up on its own.

What you want to do depends heavily on your interest, but here are a few suggestions. ** One upcoming home-business is 'virtual assistants'. You can stay at home and provide administrative (secretary) support to a company or individual. Be aware though that this is an exhausting job and you need to devote your entire work day to it. Also, depending on time zone of where your employer is, you may have conflicts with your own schedule. Check out ivaa'c - it is an association of Virtual assistants and it will have good leads to get you started. ** Alternatively you could consider being a freelance technical writer, web designer, marketing coordinator and such. You can manage these from the comfort of your home but they can get demanding. They need heavy networking to establish yourself and everything is based on leads. ** Another fun (if you like shopping) yet profitable business for some is to be a seller on eBay or Amazon . I've read positive results where this profession generates sufficient income to replace a full time job. People scour garage sales, antique shops and such and buy items at low cost and sell them at a good profit on these sites. Just a couple of thoughts to get you started - good luck with your new venture!

RE:self centered inlaws
I agree they have completely double standards as I recently found out. I saw my husbands childhood photos when he was young. His parents claim they sacrificed everything for their kids and lived poor and behave like martyr parents. Got treated as free domestic servant. But the photos showed them dressed like Bollywood stars with watches and jewellery enjoying their life. O... - Tina [View Message]
