Thanks Hetal. my baby was having orange stools past two days. i was about to post my query here and i read your post on food and bowels. i stopped carrots and my baby had normal colour bowels.
I have one question though.
does it mean that my baby is not able to digest carrots. does it mean that this is a type of food allerrgy ? i hope this is not food allergy.

--> it depends,,if you are seeing traces of carrot pieces,,or thick lines of orange strings,,its quite possble,,he was not able to digest it.
hwoever,,that does not mean that you should stop this vegetable or fruit totally,,offer with combinations and your child should be able to digest it well..sometimes some vegies or fruits are accepted well when given in combinations...see if that works,,
also i hope you are giving boiled, mashed and strained puree/vegie or fruit,,until atleast 10months....
however, this is quite normal,,most babies do that, until 1year of thr life.why it happens and all the indepth details if you want,let me know,,will write it for you...
