Role of in-laws:how to handle husband

Name: meera

I have a daughter who is hyperactive and also a poor sleeper. i was working before she was born. my husband and i had a normal relationship but of course we never could communicate properly to each other. like i am the person who keeps talking and he doesn' t talk much or listen with much interest. i wouldn' t say we are much compatible but nevertheless the relationship is going without major hitches. now with the child who is 2.5 yrs old and with no parental support from either side, it is exhausting and when he comes home i really want to talk to him and i want him to talk to me. but he never relishes talking to me and never keeps a cheerful face no matter how muchever i try. this makes me very unhappy and i have asked him many times to talk to me. but he never changes. instead says that because of me he is not concentrating on his job and criticises me for many things like the house is not neat, you are not taking of the child properly etc etc..
i am not in a position to take any decision. my child falls sick every 1 to 1.5 months and there is no parental support from either side. so it is difficult to make a decision to take up a job. what do i do to improve my life ?

my dear,
you havent mentioned why there is no parent support from both sides.secondly how is your financial position.reason for your husband behaviour is you only you will have to ask him what he wants from you when he critisizes you .as per the alligations he puts on you he want you to be a good housewife and take care of kid .

How to deal with this?

He is a physician and obtained his residency training. I worked to earn for our family for two years until he got his job. Then he applied for his parents to visit us on a visiting visa. We were both wo... - Tina Shah [View Message]
RE:self centered inlaws
I agree they have completely double standards as I recently found out. I saw my husbands childhood photos when he was young. His parents claim they sacrificed everything for their kids and lived poor and behave like martyr parents. Got treated as free domestic servant. But the photos showed them dressed like Bollywood stars with watches and jewellery enjoying their life. O... - Tina [View Message]

RE:Mother-in-law spoiling my child
hello kajal,
if you are rudely talking with her, then this is not way to talking with your mother in law, you tell her in polite way, your son is her grand son, so she never think about his bad effects.... - ruchita [View Message]
