Supriya, i hope you are dong pranayam only under the strict guidance of a teacher. Many people think that it is a simple breathing technique, but infact, pranayam is a very specialised and potent technique that can be harmful if done wrongly

Life is so stressful these days. Commuting in the rains. Spending long hours at work. I constantly have neck aches. Could you suggest some therapy

Life is very stressful in a metro. In bombay its commuting in the train being jam packed in the locals. In Delhi it' s the distance to be commuted, in Bangalore and Chennai its the horrific traffic and the jams that occur in certain places. By the time you are home you feel so fed up and dead how can you alleviate the stress. Yoga doesn' t help for me and i dont have time for it.

A nice article. However was not too sure about the Coffee thing. I drink coffee or tea to relieve stress it keeps me going. I have heard that eating an apple will have the same effect. Are there any other suggestions to combat stress?

A relaxing cup of tea and cofee can help releive stress. But it is ok only in moderaton as carried to an excess it can over stimulatre you and interfere with sleep patterns.

An interesting article. I intend to put some of this advice into practice. However, it is important to feel fresh in the mind. Thta is necessary for you to be able to benefit from other physical factors such as food or exercise.
