Role of in-laws:help..??

Name: help i just want to know if any usa company hire meas afull time employee what facilities will i get?will i get green card?and can i take my wife,kid and father along with me?please explain.

If a company hires you as their full time employee to work in the US, you would be working on a work visa (i.e. H1B visa) most probably. Pls check that it is H1B and not L1 (which is a transfer visa).

A green card is a totally separate thing and an employer does not automatically sponsor you for it after doing your H1B.

You need to check with your employer as to whether they would be filing for your permanent residentship (i.e. green card) after joining. Usually US companies agree to file after 3-6 months (after watching yr job performance)...but you need to talk to them before...otherwise they may not...

A green card can take a few(3-6) years to come so be prepared for that (unless you are in a special category profession that waives yr labor certification stage and shortens your green card wait e.g. physiotherapist, nurse etc)

You can get only your dependents with you on your work visa and sponsor them on your green card application. Your dependents may include your spouse and children. Children should be less than 18 yrs I think. No parents.

But pls check all this with your employer and an immigration lawyer.
