I have problems with my inlaws. They are not at all co-operative and i am struggling a lot. My husband also not understand me. I am unable to talk with my parents in india. My inlaws are not earning anything and they are totally dependent on us. then also in my house they are handling eveything. Even if shopping choice and grocerry everything done by them. My life is like go to work come at house. complete all work. they go out etc etc... My husband never understand me and i stop talking with him for all of this because whenever i talk to him regarding his parents behavious he said i will give divorce to you.Else he is good.
I am thinking that what i have to do. I am so frustated and unhappy with my life. I don't want to live this life.
I come up with two option that live seperate with me my husband only. but what to do so he will come with me and leave his parents and his sisters?(i forgot to mention that his sisters with their family live with us in our house)

Take the divorce! No I am joking but frankly his attitude is shocking. To think he wont allow you to speak about your in-laws for threat of divorce is just plain nasty. No matter how nice he is this is a man who is willing to emotionally blackmail you. Think very hard about how good this marriage is, would he really follow through on that promise? If not than go ahead & say what you need to because keeping it in isnt helping. I think were you to give an ultimatum he will follow you not his parents & if not what have you lost? A grown man who should probably go back to breastfeeding!

He is a physician and obtained his residency training. I worked to earn for our family for two years until he got his job. Then he applied for his parents to visit us on a visiting visa. We were both wo... - Tina Shah [View Message]
RE:self centered inlaws
I agree they have completely double standards as I recently found out. I saw my husbands childhood photos when he was young. His parents claim they sacrificed everything for their kids and lived poor and behave like martyr parents. Got treated as free domestic servant. But the photos showed them dressed like Bollywood stars with watches and jewellery enjoying their life. O... - Tina [View Message]

RE:Mother-in-law spoiling my child
hello kajal,
if you are rudely talking with her, then this is not way to talking with your mother in law, you tell her in polite way, your son is her grand son, so she never think about his bad effects.... - ruchita [View Message]
