i face the same prob.i tell u what i am doing.dont force food on her.what i do is when she is hungry i just dont immediately rush for milk,i keep a plate ready with food on the dining table and make her sit there.if she has no choice she will start picking up the food and at least try to eat.if she doesnt eat much i dont force.i just clean her and start playing if she is hungry again after 30 min i dont feed milk but give her something else to eat .it becomes tedious for me cos i am virtually always in the kitchen but this way i end up making her eat at least something to her if nbot much .apart from that i give her complan ,juices and fruit shakes so she does end up losing weight

as for the tooth decay problem buy a toothbrush for her age and show her how to brush teeth ,she will be fascinated to brushing and building a habit could take time and it depends on child to child, also get a tongue brush it is available in all good supermarkets

Milk is probably the best thing for a kid to be addicted to :). It's very healthy, with fat & protein. Is she drinking breast milk or milk from a bottle? If she's still breastfeeding try to slowly ween her from it. Also, the bottle is bad for teeth so try to teach her to drink from the kids cup with a little lid & spout, or a soft foam cup. For food, which will certainly come in time, make eating fun, let her use her hands, and get her a baby spoon. Give her fun foods like cheerios cereal, peanut butter, pasta, raisins, & bananas that she can eat herself & play with. As long as she is healthy that's what matters. If you are concerened about her health, get her childrens vitamins, either chewable or liquid that you can put in some juice. But even if all she drinks is milk for the next year, it'll be ok :).
