On these boards I see the most amazing spellings and language usage. I wonder if parents who spell in that despicible \" sms\" way and misuse English [grammar, syntax etc] so blatantly will be able to teach their children how to spell and use good quality idiomatic English will ever be able to so so effectively, or just farm them out to tuition classes?
I do realsie that not all of us may have had a firm grounding in good english, and luckily for us we have such wonderful languages in India so there is a lot of richness and variety, but when one uses a particular language for communication does one not feel the need to put in an effort to use it in the best way possible?
Any comments or suggestions?
