The situation in each case of child suffering from regressive
autism can be different. Some may experience loss of few words, for
some it can be loss of social skills and some of them may experience
both. The rate at which this disorder develops also varies in each
case.
Causes of regressive autism
The exact causes of regressive autism are not known. However some
researchers say that vaccinations, seizures, viruses etc; can also
cause regressive autism. But some researchers say that it can be caused
due to postnatal environmental factors. Once the root cause of such
disorder is know it is easier for parents and doctors to help the child
coping with it.
