 Frequently Asked Questions

Q: My son was playing, and he fell on his head this morning, and has a scratch with a blood spot just above his forehead. He cried for some time, but then returned to normal. Is there a cause for worry? He fell on a carpeted floor. Should I apply soframycin to the injury site?

Anusha (Chennai, India)

A: There is no need to worry. Soframycin is a good ointment for cuts and wounds, so if there was a cut, you could apply it.

Q: My two year old daughter slipped while playing, and fell on a wet floor. She cried a lot and started vomiting. She is back to normal now. She has fallen a few times before this incident also. I want to know if this is something serious. Will there be any repercussions in future for her due to such falls?

Kajol (Noida, India)

A: Rest assured, nothing will happen to him. It is quite common for children of that age to fall.
