through this article i realized that STDs cause severe complications during pregnancy. the unborn baby may have several complications or the pregnancy may be terminated midway. very seldom women undergo tests for sexually transmitted diseases, even if they fall under the high risk category..STDs during pregnancy or delivery can result in birth defects in the baby, miscarriage or even still birth. women must be aware of these diseases and get tests done to prevent them.
