 hi me and my 8 yr old daughter are suffering from chickenpox, this is my second time,i had it when i was my daughter's age, i have it more severe than my daughter but now they are scabbing... i hope i dont scar a lot, im using vitamin oil and its really effective plus drinking loads of water and eating watermelon. well i wish good luck to all those in same situation x x

 i had chicken pox last year in july and till now i still have the scars all over the top of my arm but i thin i have the soloution. you ay think that it is silly but on my face i had quite a lot of scars but wen i started getting back to going out and to playing football most of the scars were dissappearing and because i wore a short sleeved shirt the scars have slightly disappeared while thre is still a lot of scars on the top of my arm. so try that.

 good information to know other people have chicken pock scars. i got mine when i was 20 and went in to labour with my first child. i am know 39 and still hate looking in the mirror at my scars. i am thinking of having a chemical peel as i have heard this works. let you know later bye

 im on my third day of the pos and oh my god-they are so bloody annoying!!!! i had my state exams over with though so in a way im thankful i got them now. i have them everywhere...from my scalp to mouth right down to ones on my toes. ive banned my boyfriend from seeing me but at this stage i really dont care. ave a alot more to worry bout. i find calamine lotion good and im drinking lots of water, eating fruit and taking vit e tab. later on im gna use cocoa butter. used it before for toning and it workd wonders. i haven scratched oine yet!!it really s a mind game. stick on mp3,geta good book and chillax! they will go in time! beats luk with them all. later on when they do go ill get back to ye all!!!!xx

 umm im 14 years old and ive had the chickeen pox 3 times!! so what advice i can give you is dont scratch duh and take oatmeal baths (aveeno brand is best) and just really apply lots of ointment so you dont get tempted to scratcha nd it normally goes away within a week .. i should know .. and dont think you only get it once thats a myth not true!!

 i'm 35 and had the chicken pox a month ago, on mother's day. there were countless blisters on my face, scalp and torso, although the ones on my body have nearly cleared up. there are still many 'purplish' spots on my face and a few pits. i'm using bio-oil for my face and it's healing slowly but surely. just hope that the pits can fill up eventually. i drank a lot of water and fresh fruit juices during the first few days and tried hard not to scratch. i also avoided dark soya sauce. one thing is to keep clean and dry and cool. good luck!

 hey everybody, i have a mild case of the chicken pox. im 14 years old and im in the 8th grade. im not allowed to go to school until they are scarred over. im really mad though because i have a chorus permormance tonight and an awards ceremony tomorrow for completing middle school. also, exams start next week and the 8th grade dance is next week. im hoping and praying that they will all scar over in time for me to attend everything and be as healthy as i cann.

 hi everyone, my one year old has them pretty bad.i had them as a kid the only thing you can do is take a oat meal bath put some regular oatmeal in a sock tie it up and squeeze it around in the hotor warm bath water also run the sock over your body to get the oatmeal on the spots. take benadryl for itching and tylenol or motrin for fever and pain good luck

 hi all, apply linical lotion(calamine lotion) on the effected skin,also take vitamin c tab one per day,if the fever is above 100f u can take crocin.also take ciplox 500 in morning and in night this will help you .some of the patient suffered with bad pain,they can take atarex 25mg this will help them to get sleep.do not scratch.& for the scars after the recovery do apply neem leaves & turmeric powder paste on the scars this wil help in removing the scars.god bless you

 hey guys i think ya over reacting its a common ilness that everybody once in there life will have to go through some people scar some dont some people can be seriously ill some people take it on the chin m daughter has jus got over them and hers are fine there a couple of marks but give em chance to fade there nothing to be ashamed of and people arnt gonna look at you any diffrently people have bigger and worse scars on there body from other things dont see them bothered they will fade away and go so stop worrying and just be lucky you had it now x

 hello chicken pox victim!!! just have to say this. don't scratch nothing. when u scratch you leave bacteria on your blisters which later appears as a scar.if by chance you did pop a few of those bubbles then gently clean it antiseptic like dettol. kills all those wicked germs.if scars remain consult your doctor asap. you have more chances of getting scars removed naturally if you act immediately!!

 i had chicken pox 2 months ago and it was honestly the worst illness of my life, i tried not to scratch but i have deep scarring on the side of the forehead, the worst however is my front and especially my back which have all these horrid purple type scars which refuse to go, its lowered my self esteem to some extent and i dont feel as confident as before but i read on internet that maderma cream helps reduce it so im gonna try it, its just a suggestion also to those who have chicken pox i feel for you and hope you dont scar like i did

 they go after a while, but u can use neutrogena creams they worked for me my scars are almost gone. it takes a while but they go. and whatever u do don't scratch! i didn't scratch and i still got the freaking spots so imagine what happens when you scratch??!?!?!?!? peace y'all ^_^!
