Technology is a boon when used well. For instance, home automation, nanny cams and GPS devices are extremely handy. But spying on children to the extent that you breach their privacy isn't rt IMO. Also, parents need to be responsible enough and teach children both the pros and cons when it comes to technology. Good read :) We just discussing this the other day at my daughter's school when a parent complained of her son's addiction to video games.

Very true! In fact, with technology, I get to know the whereabouts of my child at all times and I feel safer in the knowledge. The article beautifully illustrates how technology can help parents in raising their kids. I recently spoke about the role of technology in households today @ my kid's school- I was a guest speaker in an event there. Well written!

Technology has both good and bad advantages. Without it, difficult to live for example mobile phone. Last week I was running late to pick up my daughter from Orchids the International School in Bangalore and called up my friend whose son is studying there to do me favor of picking my daughter along with her son. It is a simple incident but solved my issues that day. Mobile phones are very useful!

My kid studies at Orchids the International School and I could see that she started to make use of technology to enhance her learning experience.

Technology affects the quality of parenting as i rely on them. from cooking food in a jiffy in microwave to working out on school projects on computer, technology comes for help.

doing without technology is impossible. Be it school, or in home technology is very helpful. i am just dependent on it from morning to night.

parenting is challenging. technology can make it better or can also affect it. it is a debatable topic.
